8 8 Guidelines (#1-#3) 1. Determine why the person needs the information 2. Be aware of the person asking the question 3. Get as much information as possible

9 9 Guidelines (#4-#7) 4. Always check terms in a medical dictionary 5. Do not provide a diagnosis 6. Do not interpret medical information 7. Do not give medical advice, opinion, or make recommendations

Are there side effects? Do an advanced search in Health Source: Consumer Edition to find articles that will help your patron. Report your findings via chat.
