2 2 Evaluation Objective One Provide an Assessment of the Current State of 21st CCLC Program Impact Conduct an analysis of 2009-10 regular attendee and other program data obtained from PPICS (February to April 2011) Synthesize results from the local evaluation reports submitted for the 2009-10 programming period (February to April 2011) Session at WA Summer Institute to review findings and engage in a discussion around the relationship between state and local evaluation efforts

3 3 Evaluation Objective Two - Webinars Support the PPICS Reporting Process and the Collection of Student Level Data Conduct five webinars on entering data into PPICS and support the collection of PPICS related data (April 2011–July 2011) Initial Webinar held on April 15 for new users Next Webinar scheduled on April 29 to discuss changes to the APR process

6 6 Evaluation Objective Three Document the Extent to Which 21st CCLC Programs Are Meeting Local, State, and Federal Targets and Goals New data collection module in PPICS to collect information about the nature of local evaluation efforts and how evaluation data is being used to support program improvement efforts will launch May 1 New Washington Attendee module in PPICS slated to launch July 1

9 9 Evaluation Objective Four Identify Characteristics Associated With High-Performing Programs Site Coordinator Surveys were sent out on April 8 with a deadline of April 19 Reminder notices will be going out today or Monday with an extended deadline of May 3 Staff survey verification page e-mail and link sent out on April 13 with a deadline of April 21. This deadline will also be extended to May 3 First wave of staff surveys will be going out next week

10 10 Staff Verification Page Identify up to 12 paid staff that work in each 21st CCLC–funded center Only identify paid staff that are actively involved in providing services and activities for students that participate in the program Select staff that work most frequently in your program and deliver activities that are most aligned with your centers objectives for student growth and development

13 13 Evaluation Objective Five Increase the Capacity of Grantees to Meet Their Program Improvement and Evaluation Obligations Convene an Advisory Group to review a draft set of leading indicators developed by AIR and Weikart Center, recommend changes and additions, and finalize for 2010-11 data Present leading indicators at the WA Summer Institute Design and prepare leading indicator reports (February 2011–September 2011)
