4  Her execution occurred on Tuesday July 19, 1692 and according by tradition when good was standing at the gallows she was asked once more if she was a witch and her soul would be saved and she did not confess.  Sarah good was an outcast to society, and nobody cared about her. She was one of the first to be hung and no one knows where she was buried.

5  Sarah good grew up very wealthy and at the age of seventeen her father took his own life. Leaving an estate of 500 pounds. After that she went threw a series of unfortunate events with her life. BeforeAfter

6  She had two husbands and two kids, her first husband was very poor and he died in debt, her second husband went well in the beginning and then all the bills from the first husband went to her and she had to pay for them, which caused her to go poor and live on the streets. Then she was considered a beggar and eventually a witch. She had two children one was Dorcas,her daughter, and the other was a newborn who's name and gender was never found.

7  Sarah good went to public school until her fathers death when she was seventeen. Then she was left a fortune and she wanted to just live off the fortune for the rest of her life but her first marriage ruined this dream. She was forced to pay her husbands debts which left her with no money, which then forced her to be homeless and become a beggar. So the only education that Sarah good had was a high school education.

8  Sarah good was a beggar because of the death of her first husband. She did not work she went from door to door begging for money and food. And many people have reported if you said no she was walk away mumbling and many thought she was sending an evil message.

9  After Sarah's first marriage she went homeless and she never had any specific religion. The main religion at the time was puritan, and Sarah tried to be puritan but people said she did not fit the puritan mold.

10  After the death of her first husband William Good the good family went into debt and lived a life of begging and poverty and were regarded as unsavory people and she was considered a witch. She was hanged on Tuesday July 19 th 1692 she was one of the first three woman to be hanged ever. She was hanged on witch hill. And she was on of the five to be hanged that year and when the other girls were praying for forgiveness she did not at all. Before she was hanged the minister asked her one last time if she would confess she said “I am no more a witch than you are a wizard, and if you take away my life, God will give you blood to drink.” then the minister twenty five years later died of internal bleeding, choking on his own blood.

11  Sarah Good was not hanged until after the imprisonment of her six year old daughter Dorcas, who was also considered of witchcraft when Ann Putnam accused her because she had said that her and her mother practiced witchcraft and that she had a red bite on her finger that her mother had given her. And she also had an infant and the baby died a tragic death in prison.
