RTD offering individual advice & coaching for proposers -checking project idea vs. Work Programme and Call -ensuring eligibility (formal criteria) -checking for clarity of presentation -advising for all evaluation criteria, legal & financial aspects -finding complementary partners -final check of proposals before submission! -offering targeted training for proposers enlargement & internationalisation: a priority strategic monitoring of Austrian participation

18 Seite 18 AT-SK cooperation in FP6 Some conclusions From FP5 to FP6: no increase of cooperation Is the level of cooperation achieved enough for strengthening the links in our region? How can we increase cooperation in joint EU projects? Some proposals: Develop a joint strategy for cooperation organise collaborative NCP actions, e.g. SSAs utilize synergies between bilateral and multi- lateral programmes and initiatives, e.g. ASO develop further ERA-NET cooperation
