Scripture reading Psalm 96:1-9 Reader: Trevor Wells Psalm 96 1 Sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all the earth. 2 Sing to the LORD, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day. 3 Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples.

Scripture reading Psalm 96:1-9 Reader: Trevor Wells 4 For great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; he is to be feared above all gods. 5 For all the gods of the nations are idols, but the LORD made the heavens. 6 Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and glory are in his sanctuary.

Scripture reading Psalm 96:1-9 Reader: Trevor Wells 7 Ascribe to the LORD, all you families of nations, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength. 8 Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; bring an offering and come into his courts. 9 Worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness; tremble before him, all the earth.

3: Verse 2 When through the woods and forest glades I wander, and hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees, when I look down from lofty mountain grandeur, and hear the brook and feel the gentle breeze,

4: Chorus then sings my soul, my Saviour, God, to thee, "how great thou art! how great thou art!" then sings my soul, my Saviour, God, to thee, "how great thou art! how great thou art!"

5: Verse 3 And when I think that God, his Son not sparing, sent him to die, I scarce can take it in, that on the cross, my burden gladly bearing, he bled and died to take away my sin,

6: Chorus then sings my soul, my Saviour, God, to thee, "how great thou art! how great thou art!" then sings my soul, my Saviour, God, to thee, "how great thou art! how great thou art!"

7: Verse 4 When Christ shall come with shout of acclamation and take me home, what joy shall fill my heart! then I shall bow in humble adoration and there proclaim, "My God, how great thou art!"

8: Chorus then sings my soul, my Saviour, God, to thee, "how great thou art! how great thou art!" then sings my soul, my Saviour, God, to thee, "how great thou art! how great thou art!" CCLI License - 65769 Celebration Hymnal - 149

When I survey the wondrous cross

1: Verse 1 When I survey the wondrous cross on which the Prince Of Glory died, my richest gain I count but loss, and pour contempt on all my pride.

2: Verse 2 Forbid it, Lord, that I should boast, save in the death of Christ, my God; all the vain things that charm me most, I sacrifice them to his blood.

3: Verse 3 See from his head, his hands, his feet, sorrow and love flow mingled down; did e'er such love and sorrow meet, or thorns compose so rich a crown?

4: Verse 5 Were the whole realm of nature mine, that were an offering far too small; love so amazing, so divine, demands my soul, my life, my all. CCLI License - 65769 Baptist Praise and Worship - 233

5: Chorus My chains are gone; I've been set free; my God, my Saviour has ransomed me. And like a flood, his mercy reigns, unending love, amazing grace.

Scripture reading Ephesians 2:1-10 Reader: Shirley Yap Made Alive in Christ 1 As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. 3 All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath.

Scripture reading Ephesians 2:1-10 Reader: Shirley Yap 4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. 6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,

Scripture reading Ephesians 2:1-10 Reader: Shirley Yap 7 in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
