NEW PTSA BUSINESS School Improvement Team (SIT) - Laura Torres Goal I – Focus on reading 1) Improve reading portion of MSA from 84.5% to 90.5% or higher. 2) Improve in each targeted student group, increase to 80.8% or higher. 3) Integration of technology. Review strategies for goal obtainment.

NEW PTSA BUSINESS School Improvement Team (SIT) - Laura Torres Goal II - PBIS 1) Attendance - 94% overall attendance rate by 6/2010. 2) By 6/2010, 15% decrease number of discipline referrals, minor incident reports and suspensions. No more than 1% of negative reported or unsafe behaviors as classified by MSDE. 3) By 6/2010, safe and nurturing environment will earn an average approval rating of 75% or higher from groups surveyed (parents, students & staff). Review strategies for goal obtainment.
