TanDEM-X data access DEM products AO for TanDEM-X “Intermediate DEM” data 2014 (closed 12 March, 2014) – for selected regions of the globe and solely based on the first global coverage of the mission – a first impression and preview for the DEM products to come. 7. Other Opportunities Ongoing DLR research projects with focus on GFOI R&D priorities (sensor interoperability, forest degradation, biomass estimation) – Integration of sites and teams into GFOI R&D? DLR plans specific AO in 2015 addressing research agendas of global initiatives, – including GFOI R&D, but also Agriculture, Water, Biodiversity, Disasters/Risks, Climate etc. – ~ 5 projects to start late 2015 or 2016 – Will fund German researchers and companies, but collaboration with international partners sought SDCG-8 meeting in Germany in September will allow comprehensive exchange with stakeholders in Germany (DLR, Universities, service and data providers) SDCG-7 Sydney, Australia March 4 th – 6 th 2015 7
