Children & Hooiser’s Immunization Registry Program (CHIRP) 2007, began accepting HL7 VXU 2.3.1 messages Included 2.5.1 in February 2011 Can accept messages using HTTPS, TCP/IP, file transfer including SFTP, and directly from the state HIOs Established process for new HL7 interface setup EMR vendor test site including; Allscripts, Greenway, E-MDs, GE

6. Public Health Emergency Surveillance System (PHESS) Established first connections in 2005 Currently receiving electronic messages from 124 Hospital ERs from around the state. All data flowing through HIE connections. Have successfully tested ADT messages from 55 provider organizations.

7. 2011 Meaningful Use Connections 159 organizations successfully attested in 2011 36 separate EMR vendors submitting data Data received from 3 state HIOs Health Bridge, IHIE, and MHIN 68 providers actively sending to CHIRP (7 are bidirectional) 124 hospitals actively sending to PHESS

Website with up to date contact information and with easy access to messaging guides. Collaboration between program areas to find solutions to common problems and avoid a duplication of effort.
