At 400 million is the world's largest child population. 50% of India's children between the age 6 and 18 are not in school 17 million children in India work as per official estimates 1 out of 6 girls will not live to see her 15th birthday 2 million children (approx) are commercial sex workers between the age of 5 and 15 years We do not ask for cash donations THE INDIAN SCENARIO

11 HOW DO WE MOBILISE FUNDS? Individuals in India -Face to face -Direct mail -Online Advertising -Events Individuals overseas -Applying for FCRA certification. Corporates -One-on-one -Marketing tie-ups Funding Agencies -One-on-one Product Sales -Events -Corporates We do not ask for cash donations

12 SHADES OF HAPPINESS TODAY We have impacted the lives of nearly 600 children in Delhi & Hyderabad by way of providing them with whatever little we had. In order to reach out to the maximum beneficiaries, we are planning to acquire a movable school on wheels. We envisage opening a Mumbai Chapter in September 2010. In Delhi, we plan to send at least 500 children to school by 2011-12. We do not ask for cash donations

13 WHO MAKES IT POSSIBLE? The primary stakeholders i.e the children and their parents Ordinary individuals by volunteering, pledging, etc Corporate/Social Partners like WNS,INTELENET, DETTOL, IBM, St Columba’s School, etc. 120 Volunteers who contribute time, skills and effort 4 Trustees People who buy the products. We do not ask for cash donations

14 BECAUSE EACH OF US BELIEVE “THAT WHATEVER LITTLE WE DO ADDS UP TO A LOT FOR THEM” We do not ask for cash donations

15 You can partner us by: Donating old clothes, shoes,etc which our children can wear. Donate stationary, old books (both school and story books). Donate old computers, music systems, etc which would help us to train the kids. Becoming a volunteer in either teaching, administration, fund raising, marketing or Public Relations. Helping us get associated with the CSR department of your company. Reviewing our running programs, viz Neev and Go To School and helping us in your kind capacities. Pledging an amount per month for the year (Rs 500 per child per month) to help us put a child in a good school and take care of her/his academic needs for the year. Donating in Kind towards our existing programs. Funding a full project WE NEED YOU We do not ask for cash donations
