3 CPA/MBA We offer concentrations and graduate Accounting courses that enable undergraduate Accounting majors to complete the education requirements for taking the CPA exam in Florida while earning their MBA degree. Unique Accounting concentrations include: - Forensic Accounting - Taxation

6 MBA Program Admission Requirements Minimum qualifications (not a guarantee of acceptance) –GPA of 2.5 or higher and –GMAT score of 500 or higher –Formula: (200 x GPA) + GMAT = 1100 or greater with minimum 500 GMAT –Prerequisite requirements 10 undergraduate business courses

7 MBA Program Structure Prerequisites – Option #1 Undergraduate Classes ACG 2021 Principles of Financial Accounting ACG 2071 Principles of Managerial Accounting ECO 2013 Economic Principles: Macro Economics ECO 2023 Economic Principles: Micro Economics FIN 3403 Principles of Finance ISM 3011 Information Systems in Organizations ISM 3431 Management Science Production/ Operations Management Applications MAN 3025 Principles of Management MAR 3023 Basic Marketing QMB 3200 Managerial Decision Analysis

8 MBA Program Structure Prerequisites – Option #2 MBA Essentials Intensive, two week non-credit (pass/fail) self-taught experiences mixing internet and in-class learning of basic concepts and terminology in 7 disciplines in one semester: –Accounting –Economics –Finance –Management Information Systems –Operations Management –Management –Marketing –Statistics

9 MBA Program Structure Waiving Prerequisites Required prerequisite courses can be waived individually if: –your undergraduate school is AACSB accredited; –you received your undergraduate degree within the last 7 years; and –you earned at least a B in the specific equivalent course.

10 MBA Program Structure Required and Concentrations 12 MBA Courses (36 credit hours) consisting of both required courses and elective courses all with emphasis in areas of corporate social responsibility and globalization

11 MBA Required Courses 6 courses, 3 hours each Primary Courses: –Managerial Analysis –Financial Analysis –Regulatory & Reporting Environments of Business –The Business Enterprise –Leadership & Corporate Accountability Capstone Course: –Organizational Strategies for the 21 st Century

12 Concentration Areas 6 courses (3 hours each), 3 in each of 2 concentrations Corporate Social Responsibility Finance Forensic Accounting International Business Management Managing Knowledge Resources Marketing Strategy Taxation

14 Tuition and Fees MBA Essentials Application Fee = $30 Orientation Fee = $100 MBA Essentials = $500 per module max: $3,000 for 6 or more modules includes all books and materials needed Current FL resident tuition = $273.76 per credit hour; at this rate, the required 36 MBA credits will cost $9,855
