2  Sunny days turn to cold days in the winter.  Weather can change every several hours or minutes.  Rain and snow have occurred more often especially in eastern North America.

3  Weather has changed over the last 50 years. It is up to 10 degrees higher in the winter.  The Potawatomi wore moccasins on their feet and robes in bad weather.

4  The Potawatomi used wood and sticks to make things.  They used bow and arrows. They made it to hunt for food.

5  They used feathers to make head-dresses.  They use bird bark to make canoes.
