2 On average there are about 8 or 9 basic cuts of meat that come form the beef, with many variations leading off of the basic cuts. Here’s a few cuts and variations, - Round steak - Boneless Rump Roast - Bottom Round Roast - Tip Roast - Tip Steak

3 * - Sirloin Steak * - Brisket * - Ribs * Other Cuts * - Ground Beef * - Cubed Steak * - Beef for Stew

4 * And if you get really in to it, you could have: * - Brains * - Hearts * - Kidneys * - Liver * - Tails * And Tongues, the other non desirable meat.

5 Fun fact; With an average market (live or on hoof) weight of 1,150 lbs. The typical steer will produce a 715 lb. (dressed weight) carcass. So right at around ½ of the animal can be used for meat, and the rest can be used as By Products.
