2
What is it? Set of Excel sheets that calculate ratios and graphs based on user inputted values for the 3 financial statements.
3
Why make it? “Well, uh, here is the balance sheet. Numbers went up.” Requires analyst to better understand the company that they are presenting on. Gives everyone a clearer idea of how a company or set of companies has doing financially over the past 4 periods. One easy template that everyone can use. Something else to hand recruiters.
4
How to use it? Insert appropriate values from Google Finance or Yahoo Finance. Google Finance shows past 4 annual numbers, past 5 quarterly numbers
5
Insert appropriate values from Google Finance or Yahoo Finance. Google Finance shows past 4 annual numbers, past 5 quarterly numbers Only fill in boxes that are green AND the company description.
6
Where to find them? Dropbox shared folder called “GTSF Investments Committee” “Analyst Security Reports” folder “Excel Sheets” folder
7
What will be updated and when? Since Google Finance provides 5 periods of data for quarterly numbers and the reports are only set for 4 periods, I will be creating separate reports. A set for annual reports and a set for quarterly reports. [before Thanksgiving] Adding a few more ratios to both sheets. [by Thanksgiving] Adding in DCF capabilities. [over Christmas break]

Want to see something else? LET ME KNOW. It has to be something that can be derived from the 3 financial statements or price. The less user input, the better. This report was meant to be an easy learning tool that has an awesome impact when doing presentations.
