19 19 Federal Aviation Administration FAA VoIP Interoperability Event Summary Report ICAO WG-I/14 – July 18-20, 2011 FAA VoIP IE Conclusions The event has shown that interoperability problems have been identified and many have been resolved during the vent. The event has identified the weak points in Specifications and test specifications; Overall high percentages of interoperability achieved during the test sessions at this event has been excellent; This demonstrates a very high level of confidence by all participating vendors in the standards being used. The feedback from this event to the standards and addendums will now being used to correct those last few percent of non- interoperability. Huge progress has been demonstrated for the Recorder interoperability for this first event that includes recorder vendors. The FAA will distribute FAA VoIP IE final report in August 2011.
