Definition: Quotient – The result obtained by dividing one quantity by another. Definition: Simplest Form (of expressions with exponents) – When you have reduced an expression as far as possible and all exponents are positive

Dividing Powers with the Same Base If and m and n are integers, Attention!!! The bases must be the same!! Also, you may get a negative exponent.
