Warm Up 03/25 Practice CRCT Problem: Combine the “like” terms below: − 7(n + 3) − 8(1 + 8n)

Closing 03/25 Reflection Question Think about what you accomplished during class today. What areas will I need to focus on tomorrow?

Warm Up 03/26 Practice CRCT Problem: The hardware store sells green buckets, which hold 10 liters of water, and orange buckets, which hold 2 liters. Trevor bought 5 buckets. His buckets will hold 42 liters in total. How many of each type of bucket did Trevor buy? ____ Green Buckets ____Orange Buckets

Closing 03/26 Reflection Question Think about what you accomplished during class today. What areas will I need to focus on tomorrow?

Warm Up 03/27 Practice CRCT Question: Review the steps for solving systems of equations using the elimination method in order to review before the quiz today. How to Solve Systems of Equations: Method #3 Solve Using Elimination Step 1- Put the equations into slope-intercept form or y=mx+b Step 2- Look at both equations and decide what you will need to to the equations in order to eliminate the “x” variable. For example, you may need to multiply one of the equations by a specific number in order to get the opposite and eliminate it. Example: 1 st equation is y= 2x+3 2 nd equation is 36 = 4x + y You will need to multiply by -2 in order to get -72= -4x - 2y. -4x is the opposite of the original 4x. Step 3- Now solve for “y”. Step 4- Use the value for “y” and substitute it into one of the original equations in order to solve for “x”. Step 5- Check to make sure the final values for “x” and “y” work for both equations.

Closing 03/27 Reflection Question Think about what you accomplished during class today. What areas will I need to focus on tomorrow?

Warm Up 03/28 Practice CRCT Problem: Simplify using the distributive property for multiplication. (1 + 9x) * − 10

Closing 03/28 Reflection Question Think about what you accomplished during class today. What areas will I need to focus on tomorrow?

Warm Up 03/29 Practice CRCT Problem: Write down a multiplication table for 12’s as quickly as you can. (Use zero through 12) The person who finishes first will receive a piece of candy. Example: Multiply by 10’s Answer 10 x 00 10 x 110 10 x 212

Closing 03/29 Reflection Question Think about what you accomplished during class today. What areas will I need to focus on in order to review for the CRCT next week?
