WHY ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING? Take a minute to imagine life without electricity The basics of light, heat and transport would be provided by other sources of power, but would they be user-friendly? If you can imagine life without electricity, electronic devices and computers, you will quickly appreciate the importance of electricity to virtually everybody

OPPORTUNITIES PG in any field like M.Tech (EEE, VLSI, EMBEDDED, CSE etc.), MBA or MS (Elect & Computers etc.) Jobs Government and Public Sectors BHEL, BEL, BARC, DRDO, NTPC, NHPC, POWER GRID, APGENCO, APTRANSCO, APDISCOMS, AP STATE ELECTRICAL INSPECTORS, R&B, PANCHAYAT RAJ, Many more GOVT. POLYTECHNIC LECTURERS, UNIV. TEACHING POSITIONS etc.
5
Self Entrepreneur – Contractor or establishing mini power plants Professional Engineer - Designs Chartered Engineer - Planning Private Sector Power Plants, Paper Industries, Cement Industries what not every industry requires at least one electrical engineer
6
ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING (EEE) Study and Application of Electricity, Electronics and Electromagnetism Focuses on fundamental concepts, principles, operation design, development, testing, analysis and applications The sciences of Physics and Mathematics help to obtain both a Qualitative and Quantitative description of how such systems will work Today’s Engg. work involves the use of Computer Now Electrical engineers are practicing Computer aided design programs when designing, testing and analyzing electrical systems
