4. Farm animals  *Factory farming-- farm animals are raised in cruel confinement with little/no room to move. Mass produced, veil, chickens, cows, pigs, etc.

5. Puppy or Kitten Mills  Commercial dog/cat breeding facility that is operated with an emphasis on profits above animal welfare.dog/cat breeding  Often in substandard conditions regarding the well-being of dogs/cats in their care.

6. How can you help????  *Support your local Humane Society and/or rescue organization with monetary and material donations  *Adopt a shelter/rescue pet.  *Spay/neuter your pet, and encourage others to do the same.  *Be a good pet owner--- play with your pets, feed them well, regular visits to the vet, etc.

7. How can you help????  *Don’t buy or eat veal.  *Buy cage free-eggs and free-range chickens.  *Don’t buy ivory or fur.  *Speak out against cruelty to animals.  *Write your congressman urging that humane laws be put into effect.  *Report animal abuse to the police.  *Educate others!
