Section 2 If there is a vacancy in the office of VP, The president shall nominate a replacement and a majority of both Houses of Congress most confirm the nomination.

14. 13-What does the 25 th Amendment say about presidential disability? VP becomes “acting” president if 1- if the president informs Congress of an inability to perform in office or 2- if the VP and a majority of the cabinet informs Congress the president is disabled. If the president wants to return to office: President informs Congress that a disability no longer exists If the VP and a majority of the cabinet disagree, Congress has 21 days to decide: 2/3 of both houses must vote to keep the president from returning to office.
