You Can Be A Soul Winner Qualifications: 1.Must be thoroughly converted person (Peter after being restored) Luke 22:32 2.We must turn away from all sin, worldliness, and selflessness 3.We must be filled with the Holy Spirit 4.We must love those who we are reaching out 5.We must know the Word 6.We must pray Example: Peter after his restoration and Pentecost Luk 22:32 But I have prayed for you, that your faith fail not. And when you are converted, strengthen your brothers. وَلَكِنِّي طَلَبْتُ مِنْ أَجْلِكَ لِكَيْ لاَ يَفْنَى إِيمَانُكَ. وَأَنْتَ مَتَى رَجَعْتَ ثَبِّتْ إِخْوَتَكَ ». 6

7. Loving others into the kingdom We must truly love others and long for their salvation. If we have no love for others our efforts will be mechanical and powerless We can ask the Lord by His Holy Spirit to supply what we need 1Jn 5:14 And this is the confidence that we have toward Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 1Jn 5:15 And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him. وَهَذِهِ هِيَ الثِّقَةُ الَّتِي لَنَا عِنْدَهُ : أَنَّهُ إِنْ طَلَبْنَا شَيْئاً حَسَبَ مَشِيئَتِهِ يَسْمَعُ لَنَا. وَإِنْ كُنَّا نَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ مَهْمَا طَلَبْنَا يَسْمَعُ لَنَا، نَعْلَمُ أَنَّ لَنَا الطِّلْبَاتِ الَّتِي طَلَبْنَاهَا مِنْهُ. 7

Using the Word and Prayer Must have working knowledge of the Bible The Word of God is the “Sword of the Spirit” Eph. 6:17 We must know how to use the Bible to show the people their need to a Savior To show them Jesus as the Savior they need Phillip in Acts 8:27-29 Act 8:27 And he arose and went. And behold, a man of Ethiopia, a eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had charge of all her treasure and had come to Jerusalem to worship, فَقَامَ وَذَهَبَ. وَإِذَا رَجُلٌ حَبَشِيٌّ خَصِيٌّ وَزِيرٌ لِكَنْدَاكَةَ مَلِكَةِ الْحَبَشَةِ كَانَ عَلَى جَمِيعِ خَزَائِنِهَا - فَهَذَا كَانَ قَدْ جَاءَ إِلَى أُورُشَلِيمَ لِيَسْجُدَ. 8

Be Filled With the Holy Spirit The one who would have real success in bringing people to Christ must be baptized with the Holy Spirit Acts 1:8 Act 1:8 But you shall receive power, the Holy Spirit coming upon you. And you shall be witnesses to Me both in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and to the end of the earth. لَكِنَّكُمْ سَتَنَالُونَ قُوَّةً مَتَى حَلَّ الرُّوحُ الْقُدُسُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَتَكُونُونَ لِي شُهُوداً فِي أُورُشَلِيمَ وَفِي كُلِّ الْيَهُودِيَّةِ وَالسَّامِرَةِ وَإِلَى أَقْصَى الأَرْضِ ». 10

11. Taking the First Step How will I begin? Ask him whether he is a Christian Or ask a simple question that can lead to a conversation along this line Remember Christ’s conversation with the Samaritan woman in John Ch. 4 Win the person’s confidence and friendship before bringing up the subject Chose a good suitable tract, that will help If you see an unhappy person (know from his face!) ask him I know a person who can make you happy!! 11

12. Introducing Someone to Jesus Once the subject is opened, find out where the person stands? Then you will know how to treat him wisely Ask him “Are you a Christian?, Are you saved? Do you know if your sins are forgiven?, Do you have eternal life?, Are you confessing Christ openly before the world?, Are you a friend of Jesus?, Have you been born again? Be open to the leading of the Holy Spirit, He will reveal to you the person’s position and direct you to the right Scriptures to use Use the Isaiah 53:6 “All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, each one to his own way; and Jehovah has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. كُلُّنَا كَغَنَمٍ ضَلَلْنَا. مِلْنَا كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ إِلَى طَرِيقِهِ وَالرَّبُّ وَضَعَ عَلَيْهِ إِثْمَ جَمِيعِنَا. 12

13. Introducing Someone to Jesus Once we know where the person stand, then lead the person to Christ as His personal Savior and Master Share the Gospel Message (1 Cor. 15) The four principal Gospel Facts 13

God loves you and offers a wonderful plan for your life. إنّ الله يحبّك ولديه خطّة مدهشة لحياتك "God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16, NIV). لأَنَّهُ هَكَذَا أَحَبَّ اللَّهُ الْعَالَمَ حَتَّى بَذَلَ ابْنَهُ الْوَحِيدَ لِكَيْ لاَ يَهْلِكَ كُلُّ مَنْ يُؤْمِنُ بِهِ بَلْ تَكُونُ لَهُ الْحَيَاةُ الأَبَدِيَّةُ.

15. 15 2. Man is Sinful and Separated from God الإنسان خاطئ ومنفصل عن الله الإنسان خاطئ " إذ الجميع أخطأوا وأعوزهم مجد الله ". ( رومية 3: 23) Man is Sinful "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). الله قدّوس : قال الله : "… كونوا قدّيسين لأني أنا قدّوس ". (1 بطرس 1: 16) God is Holy 1Pe 1:16 because it is written, "Be holy, for I am holy.“ الإنسان منفصل عن الله " لأنّ أجرة الخطيّة هي موت ". ( انفصال روحي عن الله ) ( رومية 6: 23) Man Is Separated from God "The wages of sin is death" [spiritual separation from God] (Romans 6:23).

16. 3. Jesus Christ is God's only provision for man's sin. إنّ يسوع المسيح هو علاج الله الوحيد لخطيّة الإنسان "Christ died for our sins... He was buried... He was raised on the third day, according to the Scriptures... He appeared to Peter, then to the twelve. After that He appeared to more than five hundred..." (1 Corinthians 15:3-6). فَإِنَّنِي سَلَّمْتُ إِلَيْكُمْ فِي الأَوَّلِ مَا قَبِلْتُهُ أَنَا أَيْضاً : أَنَّ الْمَسِيحَ مَاتَ مِنْ أَجْلِ خَطَايَانَا حَسَبَ الْكُتُبِ وَأَنَّهُ دُفِنَ وَأَنَّهُ قَامَ فِي الْيَوْمِ الثَّالِثِ حَسَبَ الْكُتُبِ "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father but through Me'" (John 14:6). " قال له يسوع : أنا هو الطريق والحقّ والحياة. ليس أحد يأتي إلى الآب إلاّ بي ". Luk 19:10 For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost. لأَنَّ ابْنَ الإِنْسَانِ قَدْ جَاءَ لِكَيْ يَطْلُبَ وَيُخَلِّصَ مَا قَدْ هَلَكَ ». The Gospel

Believe, Confess, Baptize, You are Saved – آمن, اعترف و اعتمد فتخلص Believe & Confess: Rom 10:9 Because if you confess the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. Rom 10:10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth one confesses unto salvation. لأَنَّكَ إِنِ اعْتَرَفْتَ بِفَمِكَ بِالرَّبِّ يَسُوعَ وَآمَنْتَ بِقَلْبِكَ أَنَّ اللهَ أَقَامَهُ مِنَ الأَمْوَاتِ خَلَصْتَ. لأَنَّ الْقَلْبَ يُؤْمَنُ بِهِ لِلْبِرِّ وَالْفَمَ يُعْتَرَفُ بِهِ لِلْخَلاَصِ Be Baptized: Mar 16:16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved, but he who does not believe will be condemned. مَنْ آمَنَ وَاعْتَمَدَ خَلَصَ وَمَنْ لَمْ يُؤْمِنْ يُدَنْ. 17

Next Steps Show the person who received salvation that his sins are forgiven from God’s Words Act 10:43 All the Prophets give witness to Him, that through His name whoever believes in Him shall receive remission of sins. لَهُ يَشْهَدُ جَمِيعُ الأَنْبِيَاءِ أَنَّ كُلَّ مَنْ يُؤْمِنُ بِهِ يَنَالُ بِاسْمِهِ غُفْرَانَ الْخَطَايَا ». Joh 5:24 Truly, truly, I say to you, He who hears My Word and believes on Him who sent Me has everlasting life and shall not come into condemnation, but has passed from death to life. « اَلْحَقَّ الْحَقَّ أَقُولُ لَكُمْ : إِنَّ مَنْ يَسْمَعُ كلاَمِي وَيُؤْمِنُ بِالَّذِي أَرْسَلَنِي فَلَهُ حَيَاةٌ أَبَدِيَّةٌ وَلاَ يَأْتِي إِلَى دَيْنُونَةٍ بَلْ قَدِ انْتَقَلَ مِنَ الْمَوْتِ إِلَى الْحَيَاةِ. 18

19. Soul Winning Hints Deal with people of your own sex and about your age. There are exceptions to this rule. Always look to the Holy Spirit for His guidance Whenever it is possible talk to the person alone Rely wholly on the Holy Spirit and the Word of God Have the one who you are speaking read the verses from your Bible (Hearing and seeing) Emphasize the same passage from the Bible and keep coming back to it until the person cannot forget it. They will hear it ringing in their minds therafter. 19

Soul Winning Hints Always hold the person you are dealing with to the main point of accepting Christ Be Courteous (rudeness repel those who have desire to be saved) Be earnest (Act 20:31 Therefore watch and remember that for the time of three years I did not cease to warn everyone night and day with tears.) لِذَلِكَ اسْهَرُوا مُتَذَكِّرِينَ أَنِّي ثَلاَثَ سِنِينَ لَيْلاً وَنَهَاراً لَمْ أَفْتُرْ عَنْ أَنْ أُنْذِرَ بِدُمُوعٍ كُلَّ وَاحِدٍ. Never lose your temper when you are leading someone to Christ Never have a heated argument with anyone you desire to lead to Christ 20

21. Soul Winning Hints Never interrupt anyone else who is leading someone to Christ Don’t be in a hurry! Whenever possible ask the person to pray with you Whenever you seem to fail, go home and pray about it, and find out why you failed When you have led anyone to Christ, help them grow in their Christian life 21

22. Instructions We Must Give to Those Who Made Decisions for Christ 1. Confess Christ openly before men every opportunity you get (Rom 10:9-10, Matt 10:32-33) Be baptized and partake regularly of the Lord’s Supper (Acts 2:38, Luke 22:19, 1Cor 11:24-26) Study the Word of God daily (1Pet 2:2, Acts 20:32, 2Tim 3:13-17, Acts 17:2) Pray daily, often and in times of temptation (Luke 11:9-13, 22:40, 1Thess 5:17) Put every sin, even the smallest and every doubt out of your life and obey every word of Christ (1John 1:6-7, Rom 14:23, John 14:23) Seek the fellowship of other Christians (Eph 4:12, Acts 2:42, 44-47, Heb 10:24-29) Go to witness and work for Christ (Matt 25:14-29) When you fall into sin don’t be discouraged but confess it at once and believe it is forgiven because God said so. Then get up and go on with God (1John 1:9, Phil 3:13-14) 22
