30  90% of abuse victims know and trust the abuser  Promote professional boundaries between adults and youths whether by text, cell phone, or email  Educate parents and coaches about signs of grooming and empower them to recognize the “red flags”  All activities should be group activities (never one on one)  Background checks are not a silver bullet, however, are required for coaches and other individuals who have children under their care.
