EngageNY.org6

7 Instructional Challenges What do my students not know and what can they not do in relation to argument writing or inquiry/research? What part of the teacher’s instruction is missing in targeting these gaps? What knowledge do I need to build in order to support this work in my school? What knowledge do my teachers need to build, and what is my plan to support them? EngageNY.org7

8 Action Planning Create an Implementation Plan for your school:  Overarching Goal and Rationale with Implementation Steps  When will the step begin and end?  What are the existing and new resources that will be used to accomplish this step?  Who is responsible for ensuring that this step is accomplished?  How will we know that this step was accomplished with fidelity and quality?  Issues we need to think about when implementing this Action EngageNY.org8
