Humidity Absolute Humidity –Amount of water vapor contained by a gas at a given temperature –Maximum Absolute Humidity (Capacity) Fully saturated with water vapor (100% saturated) (continues)

Humidity (continued) Humidity deficit –Difference between a gas’s absolute humidity and body humidity –Body humidity Absolute humidity at body temperature, fully saturated 37 degrees Celsius, 100% saturation and 43.9 mg/L water vapor –Humidity deficit = body humidity – absolute humidity (continues)

Humidity (continued) Relative Humidity –Gas’s absolute humidity expressed as a percentage of the gas’s capacity at any given temperature
