7  A high quality data migration from STIDistrict to InformationNOW, is essential to a successful implementation.  One of the most significant factors impacting the quality of the data migration is the current state of the data.  Since each school has their own STIOffice database, it’s important to review the data prior to the conversion.  STI provides a tool that accomplishes this review and identifies areas that may need attention prior to the data conversion.  This tool is called the Pre-Processor.

10 Pre-Processor—Duplicate Contacts Important Note: Logic built into conversion routine to automatically consolidate contact records, IF the following condition exists: If the name matches exactly, AND, the address or phone number matches.

11 Pre-Processor—Advantages 1)Pre-processor output may be generated multiple times. 2)Allows districts to use transition to cleanse data. 3)Cleaner data from conversion results in more effective training.

14  Regular conference calls with STI management team.  Provides avenue to deal with non-standard items.  Examples Include:  Custom third party integration  Latest information on releases  Immediate escalation of critical issues  Provides method for management oversight at district level.
