COMPRESSED GAS Contents are under pressure. Do NOT puncture or store it near a heat source Examples: -Propane Canisters -Oxygen Tanks -Aerosol Containers

FLAMMABLE & COMBUSTIBLE Contents will catch on fire if ignited. Keep away from flames Examples: -Gasoline -Butane -Aerosol Canisters

OXIDIZING MATERIAL Contain oxygen and increase the risk of fire. Examples: -Hydrogen Peroxide -Potassium Permanganate

POISONOUS & INFECTIOUS: ACUTE Can cause death if exposed to in small amounts. Examples: –Cyanide –Chlorine Gas

POISONOUS & INFECTIOUS: CHRONIC Can cause long term health effects. Examples: –Asbestos –Lead –Mercury

POISONOUS & INFECTIOUS: BIOHAZARD Variety of chemicals which can cause harm to person. Examples: -Medical Waste -Sewage -Decaying matter

CORROSIVE MATERIALS Can burn skin and eyes. Examples: -Bleach -Toilet bowl cleaners -Sulphuric Acid

REACTIVE MATERIALS Can react with water to form noxious gases. Examples: -Picric Acid -TNT
