4 Facilities at Forest Edge Forest Edge is a fully catered camp There are 27 cabins all located in a U shape compound Each cabin contains 4 beds Bathrooms containing 2 wash basins, toilets and showers are shared between two rooms

5 Cabin Groups Students will be given the opportunity to nominate who they would like to share cabins withStudents will be given the opportunity to nominate who they would like to share cabins with Teachers will have the final sayTeachers will have the final say

6 Meals Meals Fully catered kitchen Breakfast, Morning Tea, Lunch, Afternoon Tea, Dinner, Supper Fruit, Snacks and Cordial available to students anytime All main meals will be eaten in the dining room Duty groups will be rostered to set up and clean up the dining room

16 What to bring… A list of all the things students will be required to bring will be sent home soon Soft duffle/ sports bag (no hard case) No electric appliances/electronics No phones All staff attending the camp will have mobile phones

17 Medication? If your child is taking any medication at the time of the camp: Ensure the medication is handed to the First Aid Teachers on the Wednesday morning (Clare Harding or Liz James) Medication must include: Clearly labelled with child’s name and the name of the medication Clear instructions

18 Paperwork All the paper work for camp will be sent home soon and will include: Permission formsPermission forms A behaviour agreementA behaviour agreement Medical InformationMedical Information Dietary needsDietary needs Payment requirementsPayment requirements This paper work needs to be completed and returned to school ASAP

19 Preparation for Camp We will have regular camp meetings at school for the students in Term 4. These will include discussions about expectations and behaviours A time for the students to talk about any concerns, fears, anxieties etc

20 Cost & Payment We anticipate the cost of camp with be approximately $260 (this will depend on final numbers) A deposit of $50 is due by Friday 18 th September (last day of term 3) All camp payments must be paid by Friday 23 rd October 2015 If you have trouble with meeting the costs you can discuss alternate payment methods with Rhys and Andrew

21 And finally – what happens if students don’t go to camp? Students that don’t go to camp will be required to attend school as usualStudents that don’t go to camp will be required to attend school as usual They will be placed in 4/5H with their own program of work to complete over the three daysThey will be placed in 4/5H with their own program of work to complete over the three days
