WHO GETS WHAT, WHEN, AND HOW IN SOCIETY? (Harold Laswell) Government – individuals and processes that make a society’s rules about who gets what and those with the power and authority to enforce those rules.

3 Lost at Sea! Imagine that all the students at MCHS were to go on a field trip to Hawaii. Before reaching your destination, your ship runs into a storm and capsized. You, and about 40 of your classmates were able to secure a lifeboat and land safely on a nearby island. NO adults were in your party. Answer the following questions in paragraph form:

Why? 2.Would anyone have the right to govern you? Would you have the right to govern anyone else? What rights would you have? Explain? 3.What type of society would you be in favor of creating? Why?
