6 Procurement Agreements Across the SUS Master contracts for post-storm activities will ensure best price (avoid price gouging) and service, i.e., debris removal, roofing, drywall, hazard mitigation and after storm assessment. Board of Governors, State University System of Florida

7 Full-time Emergency Management Position A fulltime position at each university dedicated to emergency management is needed due to:  the increased demand to anticipate and respond to emergencies;  to better ensure the safety and welfare of the university community and its facilities; and;  additional requirements at federal, state and local levels to better coordinate responses to emergencies. 9 A SUS Emergency Preparedness Toolkit The toolkit can consist of:  Examples of needed post-emergency documentation  Examples of mutual agreements for cooperative activity such as debris removal  Checklists for needed activity  Listing of emergency points of contacts Board of Governors, State University System of Florida
