3 Place Far west culture, Plains culture, and Eastern Woodland Culture A very popular religion in the Southwest region is Christianity. There also used to be many native groups in the olden times. The climate has a huge effect on people who live in the southwest region because most people who live in these region like hot weather and so they couldn’t really adapt to cold weather because they all have summer clothes.

4 All people in this region live there because they enjoy hot weather. They are transported over bridges and on boats There are a few of native tribes in the less populated areas There would trouble in transporting goods and there wont be a lot of delay in goods.

6 The Southwest Region is unique because it is the only place in the United States where four states meet at a single point, known as the Four Corners. It has great Spanish influence and ranges with different climates and landforms. Snowbirds, retired people who spend a portion of their year in a different location, have influenced the population boom. The Southwest Region is made up of four large states – Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas. It stretches west from the Gulf Coast of Texas to the Colorado River in Arizona.
