(trauma can lead to foreshortened sense of the future)  Who can help you reach that goal? (trauma can lead to loss of community)

6. OUR VISION Communities on the Southern Kenai Peninsula cultivate healthy relationships and resilient families, free from violence and substance abuse. OVERARCHING GOALS INTERVENTION: Develop a trauma-informed community that recognizes the effects of trauma with a shared understanding and responds in an empathic and helpful way. PREVENTION: To work collaboratively to increase family resiliency and prevent substance abuse, violence and trauma in our community.
