The President’s Death Shot at the Pan-American Exposition in Buffalo, NY Shot on September 6, 1901 by Leon Frank Czolgosz Fired at twice –F–First bullet grazed his shoulder –S–Second bullet went through his stomach, colon, and kidney, and finally lodged in the muscles of his back Doctors could not locate the second bullet so they decided to leave it, for fear that they would do more harm than good trying to locate it
