CWE, 13 April 2005, IST Call 5 Preparatory workshop on CWE DIgital Library Infrastructure on Grid ENabled Technology 3 years FP6-IST project (started sept 04), 6.3 M funded Based on Grid and Digital Library Technologies Main objectives of the testbed: To provide dynamic e-Science virtual organisations (VOs) access to shared knowledge To allow e-Science VOs to collaborate in a secure, coordinated, dynamic and cost-effective way Two application scenarios ARTE – cultural heritage domain ImpECt Scenario - Implementation of Environmental Conventions with potential exploitation in Long Term Data Preservation
