10 Ethical issues with CAM  Ethical issues with CAM  Value judgments are implicit in the term CAM itself. Deciding what should be categorized as a CAM therapy for each of your clients can be a huge issues.  The use of CAM practices are not widely available within conventional hospitals. The teaching of CAM practices are not generally taught within medical, nursing, or graduate schools so you have to fill in the blanks.  Ethical issues with CAM  Value judgments are implicit in the term CAM itself. 11 Ethical issues with CAM  The amount of research funding for CAM practices are low and reimbursement for the practice is not provided by insurance companies
