2. There are over 20 million Sikhs in the world today, most of which live in the Punjab district, in modern day India. Sikhism was founded in the 15 th century by Guru Nanak. Sikhs believe that their religion should be practiced through living life, and coping with problems. Gurus are not worshiped as gods because they are just servants of god. I quote Guru Gobind sighn “ He who calls me God will surely burn in the fire of hell. For I am only the servant of God.”

3. Being founded in the 15 th century by Guru Nanak makes Sikhism the youngest of any world religion. They believe “we are all one, created by the one.” The religion of Sikhism was created during a time of turmoil in India, where it was separated by castes, sectarianism, religious factions, and fanaticism.

He expressed the reality that there is one God and many paths to get to god, and the Name of God is Truth. Vand Ke Chakna - To share the fruits of one’s labor with others before considering oneself. To live as an inspiration and a supporter to the entire community.
