FKU/Coompanion is a Swedish association of 25 local cooperative development agencies (CDA) covering the whole of Sweden and different owners/members structures, including co-operative enterprises, associations, local governments, NGOs and trade unions.

Funding is 3.8 million EURO a year. It is based on a public baseline financing, with an institutional requirement for matching financing, a loosely-coupled federative structure and a community of practice. This is its strength! FKU/CDA:s has 85 workers, 862 members, a total turnover of : 6.7 million EURO and support the start of 200-400 new enterprices/co-ops every year.
