He wrote award winning plays such as All My Sons, Death of A Salesman and The Crucible. He was married to Marilyn Monroe. Arthur received the Pulitzer prize for drama. He also married Mary Slattery and had two children.

All My Sons opened at the Coronet Theatre on Broadway, earning Miller his first Tony Award. Honours at Dawn is produced at the University of Michigan and earns him the Avery Hopwood Award.
