Functionality: One-stop Process for BC Development and Submission Increased Transparency and Accountability Increased Governance Ease of use by Management, End Users, Administrators Paperless 5

6 Current Project Status Developed a working prototype. Functionality includes the submission of an online business case. Future enhancements include: Detailed cost analysis and risk mitigation tools Data warehouse Queries and data mining Documentation User training Analytics Includes all the elements of the Schedule XII reports agencies send to the Governor’s Office of Policy and Budget for outsourced services. 6

10 Commodity Sourcing & Contracting Bureau Activity Updates Team 1 – Energy & Transportation Motor Vehicles –New contract effective 11/01. No service lapse. Boat Motors –New product /price lists for Yamaha and Mercury products Solicitations in Development/Review –Fuel Card –Construction, Industrial, Agricultural & Lawn Equipment Personnel –Jim Den Bleyker retires on December 31. Purchasing Specialist position (Career Service) has been advertised in People First. 10

11 Commodity Sourcing & Contracting Bureau Activity Updates Team 2 – Furnishings & Institutional Supplies Educational/Institutional Furniture –Solicitation closed December 16 –Target March 1, 2010, effective date Floor Maintenance Machines –Renewed through November 24, 2010 Solicitations in Development –Carpet Contracts in Analysis –Office Furniture (expires March 2010) 11

12 Commodity Sourcing & Contracting Bureau Activity Updates Team 3 – MRO & Law Enforcement Drug Test Devices –STC expires January 25, 2010 Body Armor –Added products meeting new federal standards MRO Electrical and Safety Equipment –Renewed electrical equipment (Mayer Electric) for three years, through November 13, 2012 –Allowed the safety equipment award (Medical & Safety Supplies) to expire. Safety equipment items are now available on the WSCA MRO (Grainger) contract. Can Liners –STC expires December 31, 2009. Renewal in process. 12

13 Commodity Sourcing & Contracting Bureau Activity Updates Team 7 – SPAs and Special Projects Security Officer Services (Armed & Unarmed) –Huge thanks to DOC, DOT and DMA for providing evaluation assistance –Posted award to three vendors on December 8 Office Paper –Customer group meeting on December 11 SPA for Reclaiming Mercury –Current agreement expires January 6, 2010. Replacement SPA is in process. ACS for Defibrillators –Expires December 31. Source contract is in renewal process. Universal and Hazardous Waste Survey 13

15 Technology, Office Equipment and Special Programs Sourcing and Contracting Bureau - Contract Updates Team 4 – Information Technology Mainframe Software ITN –Since last PD meeting, Compuware was awarded. Awards still pending. Currently on contract: Compuware, Allen Systems Group, Information Builders, Unisys Implemented ACS under Federal Acquisition Services BPA Situational Awareness Incident Response (SAIR) Software. Same program as data at rest software. Lori Potts, 487-4198 Solicitations in Development/Review –Printers and Multi-Function Copiers – Need focus group development specs. Still need evaluators. –IT Disaster Recovery – SunGard renewal approved for another year. Focus group to convene with commitment from AEIT and PDCs. 15

17 Technology, Office Equipment and Special Programs Sourcing and Contracting Bureau - Contract Updates Team 6 – Special Programs and Services RESPECT Provided Drug Test Kits –Current state contract will end January 31, 2010. The same product specifications as existing STC as well as additional test kits will be provided by RESPECT thereafter. Meets all federal and state specifications. RESPECT is available now for orders. Property Insurance Program –Crime Insurance Policy is currently under ITB –Aviation Policy Renewed –Fine Art – Outdoor Renewed P-Card Platform ITN –No award was made directly with a platform. 17
