4 Another Great Pool Season! Another Great Pool Season! Another Great Pool Season with lots of continued Improvements New Patio behind diving board, extending use of grounds New Grilling Station with additional Grill – no waiting to cook! Piped in Propane – no need for tanks New Community Pool Grade Diving Board New Portable Picnic Tables – more table space Removal of Kiddie Pool New “Member Parking Only” Signs Finances Came in on or under budget versus plan again – 4 years in a row! Club Self Financed over 40% of Pool Improvements in the past 4 years (due to cash flow) 2 Payment Plan worked extremely well in 2014 (for those who qualifed) New Members We welcomed 7 new Families to our Club this past season Over the past 4 years, 40% of our membership are new Families 4 Bonds for sale Break-in & Vandalism Issue – Gate Repair, Stereo Receiver Stolen, Microwave Big Thanks to the GMSC Board – Collaboration & Cooperation

5 4 Year Improvements Over $70,000 has been used to improve / repair our Club Grounds Member Assessments have totaled $400 over that 4 year period (or $30,000 in total) Club Finances have paid the balances without the need to pull financing from equity line.

6 Our Ongoing Improvement Efforts Reserve Study Results & Other Improvements Proposed – Pool Heater Replacement – Pool Patio Deck Replacement & Repair – Pool Pump – Tree & Tree Top Clearing (sun on pool), Extend & Round Off Patio – New Lounge Chairs, Video Security / Alarm System Overall Goal – to Self-Finance and or Minimize Assessments $18,175 currently in GMSC Reserve Fund ($50 per Family for 4 yrs PLUS new member initiation & late payment fees) Board Recommends to keep dues the same, but still need for small assessment to address improvements – total $700 ($600 dues, $50 reserve, $50 assessment) – Based on Improvement Voting & Finances

7 Vice President Update / Proposal Based on new proposal, initial recommendation is for the 2015 assessment to be $50 per family Cobblestone / gravel area for Garbage Cans / Under Gates – estimate = $1,100 Tree Pruning (topping) / misc Clean up = $1,000 Round off Patio behind diving board = $1,850 Total Current Estimate = $3,950 total for improvements Additional Items to consider: – Security System, new microwave – New Furniture – Multi year leasing plan (vote on using reserves) To be voted on at the Spring Membership Meeting

8 Treasurer's Update 2015 Pool Season Budget = $46,900 – Spending Projected to be slightly under budget again Start of Year Balances: – $2,800 Accrued End of Year Operating Cash – $18,175 Reserve Fund – $0 Balance in Line of Equity Account ($25,000) Proposal $700 per family ($600 dues, $50 reserve, $50 improvement assessment) – 2 Pay Plan Bills $350 Due by April 30 (for those who qualify) – Last payment of $350 Due by June 30 Vote to approve 2015 Budget

11 Lifeguard Chair Update Created an incident report binder Lifeguard Protocols Adopted & Accepted (4 hr Shifts) 4 - 5 Lifeguards for 2015 Season Guards on Duty only when School is not in session Shifts will start at 10:30am, On-duty @ 11:00am Lifeguard Uniforms will be required (GMSC subsidizes)

12 Social Chair Update 1 st Annual Hawaiian Luau Party was a Success! In 2015, Pool Parties were much lower than 2013 - $180 less in revenue. New Grill & Grilling Station worked out very well. 2015 Pool Party New Ideas – TOGA Party Gas Grill Shut off

13 Membership Chair Update 4 Bonds currently for sale (Dolan, Taylor, Smierciak, Scalia) No waitlist Recent bonds sold between $4,500 - $4,800 7 New Families joining in off-season and during 2014: – Dube’s, Keefe’s, Mitchell’s, and Ceppos’, Lenz’s, Florian’s, Robinson- Suri’s, Lounsbury Website – Printable Brochure Available + All Information

14 Guest Fee Update Issues improving with Members not consistently signing in themselves or their Guests. – Please print legibly – issues with “scribbled” names that could not be recognized – 477 Registered Guests in 2014, up from 415 in 2013 – Better Weather in 2014 vs. 2013 – Not Signing In Guests All 2014 Guest fees have been reconciled and billed to membership – $1,598 Generated in Revenue from Guest Fees in 2014 – $395 More in Revenue from 2013 – Elected Board Members do not pay guest fees Midseason, guest fees changed to $5.00 per person on Weekends,$3.00 on weekdays

Schedule and dates are determined by majority of GMSC board members being available. Membership is always welcome to attend
