2. How It Started The way the Twilight Saga started was a dream about chapter 13, The Meadow. The dream was in June of 2003. The dream was about a human girl and a vampire, sitting in a meadow. She wrote a quick story on the dream, which is now chapter 13. Soon, after 3 months, she had written a whole story.

3. The Twilight Saga After those 3 months, she showed her sister her story, and she loved it. Her sister made her try to publish it. She got a lot of rejections from agencies. But she also got just one positive response. By November of 2003 she had signed a $750,000 3-book deal with Little, Brown and Company. She had written Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse.

4. Twilight is the first book of the saga. Twilight was published in 2005. The apple on the cover represents The Forbidden Fruit. Bella chooses Edward, which is like Eve taking a bite of the forbidden apple.

5. New Moon is the second book in the saga. New Moon was published in 2006. One week after New Moon was published, it reached #5 on the New York Times Bestseller list. Stephenie Meyer has said there isn’t a reason for the flower on the cover.

6. Eclipse is the third book in the saga. Eclipse was published in 2007. The reason for the broken ribbon on the cover is because Bella has to choose between Edward and Jacob. She’s the broken part in the middle.

7. Breaking Dawn is the fourth book in the saga. Breaking Dawn was published in 2008. The red piece in the back is the weakest piece in chess. That resembles Bella in the beginning. The white piece is Bella in the end, the most powerful piece in the game.

8. Stephenie Meyer had tried writing Twilight again from Edward’s point of view. The book was going to be called Midnight Sun. The book was leaked online so she never ended up finishing it. The first half of the book is on her website and people have read it, so her fans are encouraging her to finish.

9. The Host The Host is a science fiction book. The book is about an unknown species trying to take over a town. A girl named Melanie Stryder is captured by them. The alien tries to take over her body, but Melanie’s brain refuses. I haven’t read the book so I don’t know much about it.

10. The Twilight Graphic Novel is by Stephenie Meyer and drawn by Young Kim. This was released in 2010. It is the same story as Twilight. This is the first one. Stephenie Meyer might make one for New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn.

11. The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner This book is about a new born vampire named Bree. Bree was changed and was forced to be in a army of vampires. She was innocent and the Cullen’s saved her. She was killed by the Volturi. That’s why the book is called The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner.
