Remember this is Jeopardy, so where I have written “Answer” this is the prompt the students will see, and where I have “Question” should be the student’s response. 25 They must chase an ever- changing banner while being stung by wasps and hornets and feed the maggots and worms around their feet. Slide 4

41 Cocytus is the final river in Hell and is known as the river of wailing. Slide 4

42 How can you describe Satan? Why is he in Hell?

43 Satan is stuck in the center of the ice where all of the rivers of guilt meet. He has huge wings that are continuously beating in an attempt to escape, however, this action only freezes him deeper into the ice. He is unable to speak. Satan wanted to be more powerful and have more control than God, so he was sent to Hell for eternity. His punishment symbolizes the loss of control that he wanted so badly in life. Slide 4
