5. THE CHURCH COUNCIL will meet today at 4:00 p.m. in the College & Career Classroom in the Fellowship Hall area.

6. AWANA meets tonight at 5:30. Tonight is “B.A.R.F.-Be A Real Friend by Bringing A Real Friend Night." Barf mix will be served and the message at council time will be on friendship and sharing.

7. WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY A new Bible study, "Covenant: God's Enduring Promises" by Kay Arthur, began last Sunday night and meets each week at 5:30 p.m. in the Solomon's Porch Room. It’s not too late to join!

8. THE FINANCE COMMITTEE will meet Wednesday night at 6:30 in the Conference Room

9. CHURCH-WIDE POTLUCK Next Sunday at noon. Bring your favorite dish!

10. SUPER BOWL PARTY The youth will have a Super Bowl party with youth from Landmark next Sunday February 7, beginning at 3:30 p.m. They will play tag football then watch the game. Boys, bring a two liter drink, and girls bring chips or cookies. Come and enjoy the fun!

11. DEACONS MEETING will be next Sunday, February 7 at 12:30 p.m. in the College & Career Classroom.

12. MEN ARE NEEDED If you are willing to help lock up the church each night on a monthly rotating basis with four or five other men, please contact Blake Duncan at 942-5173 or 942-8801.

13. WINTER RETREAT is Feb 12-14 at Timber Lodge Ranch near Amity. The youth will love the worship, teaching and enjoy all of the activities at the ranch. The cost is only $40. The money and permission forms are due THIS WEDNESDAY Feb. 3. If cost is an issue, please talk to Zach. Scholarships are available.

14. PRE-MISSION TRIP A group will be making a trip down to Guerrero February 19-22 to meet with Pedro and Maria to plan this year’s mission effort. If anyone is interested in going, contact Ken Bragg at 942-4269 or 942-5125.

15. FOOD PANTRY Contributions of non-perishable food and/or money to buy commodities are needed and much appreciated! Next distribution is February 13th VOLUNTEERS WELCOME!
