16. Cancer is caused by the uncontrolled division of a bunch of cells. This bunch of constantly dividing cells is called a tumor.

17. A gene regulates cancer cells as an on/off switch to go through mitosis… So cancer is a mutation in that gene, so the cell continues to divide without stopping.

19. Makes sperm/egg cells Each contains half of the genetic material Just remember- you give half of your DNA to your offspring.
