About How to Organise User Collection Workshop Karel Charvat, HSRS, CCSS

Steps Building of initial scenarios Vision building workshops User requirements workshops

Building of initial scenarios Building of initial scenarios: to stimulate demand for new methods of using on line context and sharing data in on line repositories there will be prepared scenarios, which will be later demonstrate on vision building workshops.. This will give to users better overview about new possible tools and it will stimulate new requirements.

Vision building workshops: Vision building workshops: during these workshops is provided introduction to use of interactive tools and applications. A series of examples will be presented and then the available tools. The aim is to build a community of interested users that we can leverage later on the project. During these workshops, a very simple but engaging scenario will be presented to the users

User requirements User requirements: after the presentation on workshops and eventual testing of tools, users are asked about their priority and needs. Questioner for needs analysis will be prepared and preferences will be analysed

SDI EDU potential scenarios Political consequences of INSPIRE on local and regional level (in relation to spatial planning) / the training will be focused on local and regional decision makers to inform their about requirements coming from INPSIRE for local and regional level. What will be necessary to do on local level, how has to be INPIRE implementation organised on local level in relation to spatial planning and territorial decision. What will be advantage of INSPIRE, what will be obligation coming from INSPIRE. What will require INSPIRE on local and regional level on the side of technology implementation. What are principle of SDI, what are components of SDI, how SDI could be implemented on local and regional level. Examples of local and regional implementation The examples of solutions for SDI building (commercial platform, Open Source]. What solution currently exist, what could be advantage use different platforms. Comparison of Commercial solutions and Open Source business models, SWAT analysis for using Commercial model and Open Source models (based on Humboldt analysis). Open Geospatial Consortium standard. How they could be implemented, how they run of commercial platforms, how they are implemented in Open Sources

SDI EDU potential scenarios What are Metadata, what is role of metadata in SDI, how INSPIRE define obligation for metadata management, examples of INSPIRE compliant metadata system. INSPIRE profile for metadata, national obligation. Experience from Humboldt and Plan4all Spatial data – data quality, data harmonisation, coordinate system, data models, data generalisation. Experience from Humboldt and Plan4all INSPIRE networking architecture – basic architecture principles, Service Oriented Architecture, Discovery, Visualisation,, Invoke, Processing services. Examples of solution and technology. Experience from Plan4all and Humboldt

SDI EDU potential scenarios Intellectual Protection Rights and Spatial Data Infrastructure. What is IPR. What are general rules for IPR. How it could be realised in SDI. Data protection versus data sharing. What is Digital Right Management, how they could be realised. Advantage of sharing data and services. Monitoring obligation – what is INSPIRE monitoring. What are obligation for data holders. How it could be realised

SDI EDU potential scenarios Tools focus training. There is potential list of tools, which could be part of education – Metadata catalogue Micka – HSlayers – tool for visualisation – Geohosting – Metadata extractor – tools how integrate spatial and non spatial data – Plan4all GeoPortal – Humboldt tools for data harmonisation, Hale, transformation Services – PyWPS tools for analysis on Web – Janitor free desktop tool, how it could be integrate with SDI – Topol desktop solution supporting data editing, transformation and exporting, their integration with SDI For education will be used methods combining class room training, virtual training using IMCS video lecture tools, using self study using interactive training tools developed in NaturNet Redime project.

NaturNet plus potential topics for education Political consequences of sustainable development principles on local and regional level (in relation to regional and local development activities / the training will be focused on local and regional decision makers to inform their about requirements coming from principles of sustainable development for local and regional level. What will be necessary to do on local level, how has to be implementation organised on local. NaturNet Redime outputs for local and regional development, the use of NaturNet Redime results Sustainable tourism as tool of development in natural sensitive areas. Experiences from previous European projects like EMIRES, REGEO, NaturNet Redime project. How to organise tourism, how promote regions, collaboration of tourist providers, the tools for promoting, the tools for collaboration

NaturNet plus potential topics for education Precision farming as method for sustainable and environmental friendly agriculture. Future Farm vision of agriculture in 2030 Metaschool results for environmental education. Metaschool principles, Metaschool framework, education for sustainable development Collaborative Sustainable and Environment Impacts Assessment methodology from NaturNet Redime Matrix. How could be managed and publish related information for SEIA and EIA. What is the reason, why is important citizens and stakeholders involvement in this processes. Relation to other activities as planning and territorial decision Using spatial information for tourist support, planning, EIA, SEIA. What is current status of working with spatial information based on INSPIRE directive, what are now available tools, how data could be used, collected, published shared

NaturNet plus potential topics for education Social networking, for sustainable development, how citizens, students, pupils could be invited into monitoring dale collection and how they could response to important challenges of Sustainable development. NaturNet Redime experience, tools methods and possibility. Mobile future for Social networking for sustainable development. Collaborative gaming as tool for promoting of environment and cultural heritage. OpenStreet network based model for building of global information system supporting tourism in rural and natural regions Intellectual Protection Rights and education and awareness Monitoring obligation – what is INSPIRE monitoring. What are obligation for data holders. How it could be realised

NaturNet plus potential topics for education Tools focus training. There is potential list of tools, which could be part of education – NaturNet Matrix – GeoHra/GEoGAme – Map tools Metadata catalogue Micka HSlayers – tool for visualisation Geohosting Metadata extractor – tools how integrate spatial and non spatial data GeoPortal Analytical tools Janitor free desktop tool – Mobile solution for data collection and social networking Fildcheck, Bliin, others For education will be used methods combining class room training, virtual training using IMCS video lecture tools, using self study using interactive training tools developed in NaturNet Redime project.
