2 After the U.S. entered the war in 1941, the nation moved to full-scale wartime production (Mobilization) Building up and organizing the armed forces becomes the nation’s priority. As men went to fight overseas, women went to work in the factories (again) Women left their homes for good paying jobs that helped the war effort and were formerly held by men

4 What else happened on the home front? Japanese-Americans were single out and faced discrimination after Pearl Harbor They lived on the west coast; many Americans thought they were disloyal and helping Japan The U.S. government did something very drastic
