IWW Amsterdam Dr Tony Persson, 2011-11-01 Some possible consequenses for the Riseberga Creek in a future climate  Change of hydrological regime – more discharge and increased flood frequency during winter - less discharge and decreased flood frequency during summer, but maybe an increased precipitation intensity during summer could lead to more severe flooding  Changed conditions for aquatic habitats – warmer water and (even) larger fluctuations in discharge, water velocity and water depth in 2050 than today  Decreased water quality – warmer water and higher ground water levels that might lead to more saturated surface runoff and more erosion and sediment transport
