8 Skinfold testing Measure on dry skin Correct side of the body Grasp skinfold between thumb and index finger – Pull away Place the calipers halfway between top and bottom of skinfold

9 Test Instructions Allow to settle for 1-2 Secs Read Wait 15secs. Repeat the test for accuracy Add up total of measurements

10 Test Instructions - Males Take skinfolds from: Chest – In-between nipple and crease of arm Abdominal – 2cm to the side of belly button Thigh – Halfway down thigh, straight/ relaxed leg

11 Test Instructions - Females Take skinfolds from: Triceps – Back of arm above tricep muscle. Arm relaxed and straight Suprailiac – Just above hip bone Thigh – As males
