Optimist International Foundation provides Four $2,500 scholarships annually per District Essay, Boys & Girls Oratorical and the Communication Contest for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CCDHH) Your gifts to the Foundation is what makes this possible! Last year 130 students went to college on Optimist International scholarships

3 Planning for the Future… Maintaining a holding account- ensuring future funds Oversight for these funds is the responsibility of the Board of Directors The Board is elected by donors to the Foundation

4 Scholarship Donors Several key donors elect to underwrite and name a scholarship  A full listing of these named scholarships is available on our website: www.oifoundation.org

5 Ways to Donate a Scholarship:  Named Scholarship-  A donation of $2,500 in one year or $12,500 for a five-year commitment  Permanently Underwritten Scholarship-  A donation of $50,000  A gift by including the Foundation in their insurance policy, trusts or wills

6 Join Us. Give Today.  1 in 20  The number of Optimist that contributed to the Foundation last year. Join us in changing this number. Consider making a gift today.
