Congaree National Park is located in South Carolina. Here, you will find otters, bobcats, deer, yellow-bellied sapsuckers, woodpeckers, and owls. It is 24,180 acres, 22,000 of which is covered with forest. Cypress Creek, a canoe trail surrounded by cypresses, is a good place for spotting the animals. I choose Congaree National Park because of the wildlife and the beautiful trails.

Wrangell-St. Elias National Park is located in Alaska. It is the largest national park in the United States, at 13,188,000 acres. There are four mountain ranges, together containing 9 of the 16 tallest peaks in America. There are more than 150 glaciers, and one of them is bigger than Rhode Island! I chose this place because of its size, mountains, and beauty.

The Old South Meeting House is found in Boston, Massachusetts. This is where Sam Adams and the other leaders got ready for the Boston Tea Party, and awaited the news of whether the ships would leave or not. I chose this place because of the history behind it.

The Statue of Liberty was given to the United States of America on July 4, 1884 to celebrate the 100 th anniversary of America’s independence. The French made it 111 feet and 1 inch tall, and it was made of 224 tons of copper. It is now in New York. I chose this place because of its national importance.

Zion National Park is located in Utah. The walls are Navajo Sandstone. There are 900 species of plants not found anywhere else in Utah. The canyon is usually viewed from the bottom up. I chose this place because of the unique plants, willows to ponderosa pines and Douglas firs.

The Golden Gate Bridge connects San Francisco with Marin County. It was built in 1937, and is 1.7 miles long. The top of it is 746 feet high. I chose this place because of how long and tall it is.

The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is located in Tennessee and North Carolina. It is 521,490 acres. It has many trails and paths that you can drive down, though most tend to stay in the car. I chose this place because when I was there, it was utterly gorgeous, and the deer and black bear were cute.

The Grand Canyon is located in Arizona. It is1,207,403 acres long. The Grand Canyon was formed by the Great Flood, and the Colorado River still flows through it. The vast gorges are beautiful to look at. I chose the Grand Canyon because I think it is beautiful, and you can see God’s creation and power very clearly.

Yosemite National Park is in California. 761,267 acres long Mule deer, pikas, chipmunks, brush rabbits, marmots, and charparral 800 miles of marked trail I chose Yosemite because of the animals and beauty.

Mammoth Caves located in Kentucky 52,380 acres on top World’s Longest Known Cave System 365 miles explored so far I chose Mammoth Caves because it is the world’s longest cave system.
