4 All about Japans schools Children learn calligraphy. Children have to clean their own toilets. Children have to serve their own food. Students clean the school every day. They even clean the windows. Students have lunch in the classroom before they go out to play.

5 Rosie Rosie is 6 years old. Rosie has a big sister called angle and a dog called coco. Her mum is a artist and her dad got a job in Japan which is a zoo keeper. Rosie loves the animals and she is going to help her dad at the zoo and she. She loves the animals. she wants the animals to stay at her home.

6 Japan has four main islands (names of the islands)

7 Mount Fuji. Mount Fuji is a sleeping volcano. Mount Fuji is on the island of Honshu, in Japan. Mount Fuji is 3776 metres high. It takes nine hours to climb. Mount Fuji has snow and ice on the top. Mount Fuji last erupted in 1707. Mount Fuji is very scary to many people in Japan.

8 Cherry Blossoms Cherry Blossoms flowers are common in Japan. They bloom in spring are they usually pink, red and white. They are known in Japan as Sakura.

9 Weather It is very hot in summer and this is a photo. Winter in Japan (three photos)

10 Japanese people mainly eat fish, rice and vegs and take-away.

11 Transport Japan has a bullet Tran. Tokyo trains are very crowded with people travelling to and from work. Passengers are sometimes squeezed into the train by a station worker wearing a uniform and white gloves. Passengers travel to work on a train in Tokyo.

12 Clothing Japanese people where kimonos. Kimonos usually have plants and flowers on them. Kimonos usually have red in the back round. Japanese people like to wear kimonos. Kimonos are worn for special events. Japanese ladies in Japan usually have a umbrella that also have a smaller pattern.

13 Bullet train Bullet trains have telephones, toilets and dining cars. The Bullet train is very fast. The bullet train is very popular because of its great speed.

14 Festivals Japanese people celebrate children's day on May 5th.. The carp kite is one of the symbols of Children's Day. They wear origami samurai hats.
