2. What Does Jesus Say? Luke 20:25
And he said unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar’s , and unto God the things which be God’s.
Roman coins belonged to the Roman government.
The Jews were responsible to pay taxes to the Roman government.
Temple coins belonged to the temple.
The Jews were responsible to pay tithes to the temple.

3. What Does Colossians 3 Say?
If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
Mortify (destroy the power of all the evil desires in your life)
Fornication (wrong sex)
Uncleanness (anything that is not pure)
Inordinate affection (lust- desire for wrong sex)
Evil concupiscence (evil desire)
Covetousness (greediness)

But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
